Join Our Team – Part-Time Sales Contractor

This is a REMOTE contract (1099 if US-based) flat-rate plus commission sales position and can be located anywhere in the world – but must be available during US business hours. Perfect for a multi-customer contractor or as a side hustle.

Our fast-growing company is seeking a part-time sales contractor to convert leads into deals and sales.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B software sales – especially convincing a lead to attend an online demo – preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting software solutions preferred
  • Results-oriented and able to thrive by self‐motivation
  • Flawless English writing and speaking skills with native US, Canadian, UK, Australian, South African, or New Zealand accent required
  • Ability to be available at any time during US business hours required

Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will be given leads who have expressed an interest in our software solutions.
  • Your primary responsibility is to contact those leads and ensure that they participate in a demo with our sales solution team.
  • You will follow sales SOPs in communicating with the lead and tracking the lead in our CRM.
  • You will participate in demos, taking notes and then following up as necessary.
  • You will provide a great buying experience for customers.

Compensation:

  • Flat compensation of $500 US per month. Subject to increase if/when volume/responsibilities increase.
  • 3% commission on subscriptions and professional services for each assigned lead that is converted to a customer (average deal is $15k – $20k so commission range of $450-$600 per new customer). We project to close 1 to 3 new customers from these leads per month for an average OTE of $1,500 per month.

This is a great and easy sales role for the right contractor. You will be given hot leads from our marketing department and from sales partners. Your job is to follow our SOPs to use email and telephone to arrange – and convince the lead to attend – a demo with our senior solution consultant. During the demo you will take notes in our CRM. You will then follow up with that lead as needed and directed by the solution consultant, again following our SOPs.

Initially, you will be responsible for 1 to 3 hot leads per week on average requiring 3 to 12 hours of work per week. However, leads MUST be followed up on IMMEDIATELY during US work hours, and demos must take place during US business hours at times the solution consultant is available. Further, while this role is part-time, there are no set work hours for this position. There may be some weeks with no leads or demos, and some weeks with 6.

Other responsibilities (and compensation) could grow to include cold calling and other lead generation, all the way to including full salesperson responsibilities such as performing demos and closing deals for the right contractor looking for a full-time set of sales responsibilities, compensation, and commissions.

The contractor must have a proven track record of ‘getting in front of the customer’ and be primarily a “hunter” as opposed to a “farmer.”
